I want to say “Thank You” to my Fever United 07G players and parents for a very long and action packed weekend at the Dallas Girls International Cup. We came up short in the finals 2-0 to a good Dallas Texans ECNL Team.

After coming up short with my U17girls in the DGIC finals a few years ago I was confident my U15 girls would be the team to get our club over the hump. It’s always tough to lose because in order to get better you have to examine your performance through an objective lens and ask yourself the following three questions:

1. What can we learn from this performance?

2. What can we work on in training sessions to become better this week?

3. How will we apply these lessons to future performances?

This process of reflection is tough, but it’s necessary in order to improve as a coach. Despite our results today, I’m happy to know that our players came together as team this weekend and while although we didn’t get what we came for this time…we will for sure be back next year with a renewed attitude to finally win it all. Third times a charm! </div>
